So… I’m in Australia! I arrived to a lovely little welcome message from my flatmates who all seem really nice, which was lovely. I’m living on campus in the Deirdre Jordan Village, and the house is really quite lovely. There’s a balcony, which overlooks the city and the sea, and I can see the sea from my room. I was woken up this morning with rainbow lorikeets squawking outside my window, and had breakfast out on the balcony in the “winter” sun. This place is a world away from the Grey Britain with which I am familiar.
